In the country of Mortova, civil war has raged for 20 years. Control of the government has shifted back and forth. The world has finally taken notice and the President of the country want to know something of those who have died. Benine can touch something and know something if its history.

He is brought the bones of the unidentified dead, those that have had their dog tags removed by their killers. He reads the bones in an effort to pacify dead. A haunting, well-told tale with a real chill. Highly recommended.
