Flash Fiction Online for March 2017 arrived with new stories by Barbara A. Barnett, Paul DesCombaz, and Matthew F. Amati, and a reprint story by Clayton Kroh.

Flash Fiction Online is a website with very short stories, updated every month. These are reviews for the new stories in their March 2017 issue.

The first new story is "The Girl Who's Going to Survive Your Horror Movie" by Barbara A. Barnett. -+- This is a hilarious little piece told by the "nice girl" to some sort of monster in whose domain her and her friends have wandered. Just perfect.

The second new story is "Dos and Don'ts" by Paul DesCombaz. -+- A series of Dos and Don'ts that begin with eight-year-old Esme finding a small house made of sticks in her backyard and taking it inside and putting it on the shelf in her bedroom. Nicely chilling.

The third new story is "To Comfort the Headless Child" by Matthew F. Amati. -+- The Headless Child has many fears that seem to be stoked by his parents. But he still grows up. Darkly amusing.

By the time you read this, next month's issue might be up, but this month's Flash Fiction Online should still be available. Look for it as a back issue or read any older issue. Check them out and make a donation at their website (see link at the top of this review).
