After I read Orphanage (see review) I had a number of questions about war, Heinlein, and Robert Buttner. He graciously fielded my initial response (No, he didn't know Heinlein's Puppet Masters featured alien slugs on Ganymede before he wrote the book) and agreed to go a few more rounds to share his thoughts.
