The good news is that in the Winter 2004/5 issue of The 3rd Alternative, I found some great stories...but the bad news is that I had to get past the first one to do it. It may just be a matter of taste, but "We Must An Anguish Pay" by Steve Mohn, just tastes bad to me. Fortunately the issue gets better.
