In a world full of robots, a young inventor named Rodney (Ewan McGregor) only wants to help make the world a better place. His guide in the big city is the wacky Fender (Robin Williams) and he meets a bizarre array of robots while struggling to find his way. Life in the city is nothing like he expected but he has a dream. Unfortunately for Rodney, his plans clash with a big shot inventor named Bigweld (Mel Brooks). At the same time, Rodney's confounded by the attentions of sexy Cappy (Halle Berry)-- is she there to help him or betray him to Big Weld? Also starring Greg Kinnear, Amanda Bynes and Drew Carey.
