What a delightful idea. 23 stories by modern authors picking up the story threads of that fabulous progenitor of Science Fiction, Jules Verne. In many cases authors imbue their stories with an awareness of the consequences that the nascent technologies (and in the case of the power source of the Nautilus, prescient) that the original author could not have had. It's a fantastic voyage in the company of first-rate authors.
