From official release/information:

For those who just can't get enough dystopian cyberpunk, (e.g. Blade Runner/Matrix), there's Hammerjack by Marc D. Giller. However, it's a bit better thought out than many of the all-humanity-is-jacked-in-but-one-man-who-changes-everything books and movies out there.

In the prologue, we are introduced to the world of the future divided into those who are part of the over-stimulated culture and those were are not. The over-stimulated are looking for a new and newer jolt provided by human experiences recorded and transferred while those not stimulated just try to keep the peace. Into the mix comes a powerful company with an ever more powerful computer. The future is going to be automated.
