In a new novel that makes SF take a hard look at reality, author Richard Cox supercollides a physicist looking for the Higgs Boson (the god particle) and a businessman who was thrown out of a hooker's window in Switzerland, to land on his head three stories below. Cox is a thoughtful and inventive writer, finds enough real life tension to inject into his characters stories to make them believable and compelling, and doesn't shy away from sex, death, or the nature of the universe.
