BenBella books has put together a fine collection of essays about the now defunct Joss Wheedon series. The fan base found out that in sf space, no one can hear you scream when your favorite series is taken off the air, but that doesn't mean you're alone in the void. The editor wrote the episode "Shindig" as well as episodes for numerous other SF/Fantasy shows. Essayists include Mercedes Lackey, Tanya Huff and Jewel Staite ("Kaylee").
