Acorna and Aari are happily mated Linyarri with the power to heal and mind speak while raising their daughter Khorii. Like her parents, the horn on Khorii?s head has the power to heal all illnesses and injuries of all races. The Linyaari, with their horns, hoofs for feet, and other equine feature are well known among the human federation and Acorna is a highly respected ambassador at large, almost revered because of the things she has done to help humanity. Acorna?s life mate is the only member of his species to survive Khleevis torture and with Acorna?s help was able to defeat the sentient insects.

Khorii knows she has a lot to live up to with parents like hers and she isn?t sure she will ever be as heroic as them.
