Deep Space: The NASA Mission Reports is a compilation of press packets and probe datasheets covering all the unmanned probes sent by NASA to explore the outer solar system. There are still plenty of probes left to cover, and hopefully Apogee Books will get around to covering the inner solar system probes someday. And while almost all of this information is freely available to the public, this book collects all the information in one place for easy reference. And considering the amount of effort necessary to dig through the NASA archives and request all the disparate bits and pieces, the cover price turns out to be well worth it.
