David Gemmell Interview
by Steven SavileReview by Steven Savile Date: / Show Article / From official release/information: In a world of elves and dwarves David Gemmell is a breath of fresh air. His worlds crackle with tension, the innocent are in jeopardy, good men die and heroes are born from adversity. Names like Druss the Legend and Waylander the Slayer, are tough men living in tougher times but they rise to the occasion. I've been a fan of Gemmell's work since first reading Legend more years ago than I care to admit to. There was something about the old man on the mountainside challenging death to come claim him that resonated within me as a reader and through almost thirty novels Gemmell has never disappointed me yet, so of course, I jumped at the chance to ask one of my genre heroes a few questions about his new novel Lord of the Silver Bow, about some of his older books, and what the future holds for Britain's premier heroic fantasist.
