Boxes, Little (Book) Boxes...Not All Made Out of Ticky Tacky...

The short story is that I use cut down apple boxes and store books simply by when they come in, so that I can scan any box without digging and look for any book by its publication date. It's not the most obsessive system in the world, but it matches my sustainable level of entropy. Which is the real trick. I started out this piece with cardboard (ticky tacky) boxes in mind, but along the way discovered that the venerable wooden apple box has passed from fruits to film, and now has a new life organizing studios and sets.
