When Headstone City opens, Johnny "Dane" Danetello is about to get out of prison when two attempts are made on his life. The Monticelli family didn't even hire professionals and Dane manages to survive. Once out of prison he returns to the old neighborhood and his grandmother's house. He knows that the Don is ill and that Roberto and Vinny are not about to let him walk away when he was involved in the death of their sister, Angelina. Dane had picked her up and driven her to a house and when she came out sick, he'd tried to get her to the hospital but a traffic cop blocked his way; he'd run over the cop but Angelina died in the ER. Angelina was the only one who visited him in prison.
