A Dirty Job is a completely average Christopher Moore book. By which I mean that it's inventive, irreverent, and wipe the tears from your eyes funny. The man that has taken a poke at vampires, demons, and Christianity now turns his gaze on Death itself. And as terrifying as it may seem, the business of death turns out to be pretty much like all the others. Perhaps that's why Charlie Asher has no trouble running his business after he becomes one of Death's little helpers. After all, souls are just another item to be sold off the rack.
