The Snake Moon portends evil in this Civil War fable by the former keyboardist of the Doors. Set in southeastern Tennessee in 1863, the story takes farmer and pottery maker, Boone Dillard, and his extended family out of their isolated farm paradise into the cruelties and dreams of the outside world.
