In the larger scheme of life, the Kencyrath people were chosen by their god to fight the Perimal Darkling. Over thirty millennia, threshold world after threshold world fell. Now the Kencyr are on the last World Rathillian; but they feel their god has forsaken them because even on this orb the Perimal Darkling lurks behind the Barrier. It is believed that the last three Knorth Highborn will produce a being and the god will manifest himself in him and battle with the Perimal Darkling.
