The Forbidden Cargo are two members of an illegally engineered race, called the Imagofas. These 18-year-olds appear as lovely young women, but these nano-DNA hybrids have a number of more than human capabilities. Unfortunately for them, they are kidnapped from the site of their upbringing, a quasi-colonized Mars, and smuggled back to a futuristic Earth. As the ship is landing, it is blown up and although they both manage to escape, they are separated.
