There is something very wrong in New York City. Garbage collectors are on strike and mountains of trash litter the landscape; a severe crime wave has swept the area and people who can afford to, hire bodyguards; and people suddenly go berserk and are taken away by angels. One lady goes crazy throwing her things through her window and high school seniors Maz and Pearl are there to catch a 1975 Fender Stratocaster guitar.
