From official release/information:
In this the second of The Chronicles of Faeries: The Summer King by O.R. Melling, Laurel Blackburn has returned to Ireland to attend the one year memorial service for her twin Honor who'd fallen off a cliff. The year has been hard on Laurel because she blames herself for her sister's death. When a loved one dies there is always enough blame to go around but Laurel feels that if she hadn't been having fun with her new boyfriend Ian Gray then Honor would be alive because then Laurel would have been there to rescue her from falling. Guilt doesn't need to make sense. Guilt is what it is and it can destroy lives as surely as an accident or a missed step. So, on this visit Laurel strikes out against Ian who has waited for her return to drive him away. She immerses herself in her sister's diary hoping to find out why Honor, the sister who liked to study, was climbing a cliff face. Nothing is every easy or simple so when she happens upon a cluricaun who says Honor is caught between and if Laurel will rescue the Summer King and have him light the Ring of the Sun on Mid-Summer's Eve, then Honor will be set free. Laurel jumps at the chance to get her sister back.
