L.E. Modesitt, best known for his Recluse stories returns with Dainyl the Alector and Mykel the Cadmian in the conclusion of the second Corean trilogy. It is time for the Master Scepter to move to its new world. Corus does not seem to be the chosen world, but an alarming number of alectors are making the long translation anyhow. The problem is that with each new life sucking alector that translates from Ifryn, the life of Corus is reduced.
