Dragonfrigate Wizard Halcyon Blithe is the sequel to Midshipwizard Halcyon Blithe and picks up where the previous novel ended, with Halcyon getting himself into trouble with the best of intentions. Halcyon serves in the Arcanian navy, a military service not unlike the British navy of a couple of centuries ago, if you accept the addition of magic. In fact, the Dragonfrigate of the title is not a pretension. The ship is literally constructed on top of, and in fact into, a live sea dragon.
