I've run into Peter several times at various cons, but it wasn't until this past Readercon that I really got interested in what made him tick. Between a reading from Blindsight and the hilarious/terrifying talk he gave on the genetic offshoot of humankind we call Vampires he managed to get my attention. So when I got home I read Blindsight (see the review: Blindsight by Peter Watts) and wasn't dissapointed.
