Anticipation, the 67th World Science Fiction Convention, has announced that the nomination period for the Hugo Awards is now open. Nominations close on March 1st.

To help you out in deciding or remembering what came out and is eligible for the Hugo, we've put together this, hopefully, helpful list.

First Sam Tomanio has listed his picks for short fiction in the Novella, Novelette, and short story categories.

We're also putting together a list of eligible novels, graphic novels, and movies. We'll be adding to the list throughout the month as we get more information from our staff and from our readers.

Readers, if you want us to add your pick for a Hugo, send us email at editor at our domain name (SFRevu dot com). [You know the drill to avoid spam put the address back together.]

Our short fiction editor Sam Tomaino has put together a list of his Hugo Nominations Suggestions for Shorter Works 2009

What follows is a list of the books and movies that SFRevu has reviewed this year.

We've done our best to remove reprints but might have missed a few. Since they would have been printed in a previous form (hardcover and now trade paperback) they might not be eligible. If you spot something we missed let us know. And please do check your choices eligibility before you nominate.

This list also includes, in the UKBOOKS and USBOOKS lists, anthologies and collections of short stories (individual stories are eligible) as well as some nonfiction. Take that into consideration when you consider nominating a book. Books in bold are those that our staff feel are worth special consideration.

We hope this is useful to you.
