Patrick Carman manages to flesh out the character of Amy and Dan a bit more. He also moves the plot along at a galloping romp that can leave a reader gasping for air. As usual, a lot of history is covered in the book, this time concerning the last of the Russian royal family and the Anastasia rumors, myths, and historical facts.

How does it all fit together? How do Amy and Dan manage to get the clue and stay alive to advance to the next book? Well, you'll need to read about it yourself.
